* Although the land portion of this tour begins in Shanghai and ends in Beijing, it is preferable for participants to meet as a group in France for logistical reasons.  However, alternate arrangements can be made for participants flying from Australia, Asia and possibly the west coast of North America to meet the group in Shanghai and depart directly from Beijing.
